今天弋果新鮮事要跟大家分享的是:東西方看病、吃藥的習慣有什麽不同。How people are treated with medicine in Taiwan and in the West. In the West, when people get medicine or go to a doctor, it's usually their GP (general practitioner). 在國外大多數的人都有自己的家庭醫生，從小幫你看病，病例都在同一個地方。 It freaks out foreigners when you say ‘Where is Ben?’  … ‘Oh, he's in hospital’ … ‘Whaaaat?!!’ 在台灣很多人都會去醫院看病，可是在國外除非是發生很嚴重的事，一般是不會到醫院的。今天的節目也會談到中醫與西醫的不同: Chinese medicine is usually relatively ‘weak’ and is viewed as being easier on the body. It's also seen as more well rounded or ‘holistic’ for instance food plays a larger part. (For more about this topic, please listen to the show.)
