今天弋果新鮮事要討論的是: 英文的成語或慣用語 (Idioms)，以及他們的用法。

● not touch something with a ten-foot pole  千萬不要去碰這個東西，不要靠近他
● Sweep under the rug. 逃避的意思，將某事隱藏起來不說
● Knock on wood. 祈求好運
● Can't see the forest for the trees.    太重視細節反而忽略大局，見樹不見林
● throw a (monkey) wrench (into a situation) 從中搗亂，阻饒別人的計劃
● skeleton in the closet 見不得人的秘密
● Kick the bucket.—Passed away, died 過世
● The grass is always greener on the other side. 覺得別人的情況總是比自己的好
● Not my cup of tea不是我所喜歡的
● Let the cat out of the bag. 把秘密說(揭露)出來

● If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.   如果你無法承受熱，就不要待在廚房內，意思：如果你不能承受或不喜歡，那就請離開

Ain't:
1. a colloquialism (方言用語)
2. a contraction (縮寫) for："am not", "is not", "are not", "has not", and "have not"
這個字非常多人在用，不過是非正式用法，甚至會被認為是過於通俗、或不好聽的詞，因此在口語或書寫時應該要避免。
Example:
I ain’t talking to him. I’m angry with him.
>> (正確) I am not talking to him. I’m angry with him. (我才不要跟他說話，我很生他的氣。)
