English Corner
Today's topic is very strange but also something very funny. We'll be discussing onomatopoeia. It means a word, like meow, honk or boom, which imitates the sound which it is associated with. However, what we find is that there are actually differences between these words in English and in Chinese. Here are some topics that we will go over today.
●What sounds your language can make decides what your onomatopoeias are.
●Cross-cultural differences
●Animals 動物
●Other sounds其他
●Ideophones
