The "Eagle Sustainable Love and Performing Arts Festival" held regional qualifying rounds across Taiwan, with the first stop launching just before Earth Day. On the 28th, the competition continued in Hsinchu for the Taoyuan-Hsinchu regional round. Students showcased their immense creativity as they performed English dramas centered on the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Their teamwork, English proficiency, and acting skills impressed renowned judges Ann Lang and Sam Chen. On stage, participants transformed into boxers, marine creatures, and ballerinas to tackle complex goals such as marine conservation, gender equality, and poverty reduction. Using fluent English dialogue and expressive body language, they demonstrated strong critical thinking and empathy for different communities and social issues, earning enthusiastic applause and attention.

Drawing on decades of stage experience, Ann Lang encouraged the children to think and express themselves naturally and confidently in English. She noted that increased interaction on stage makes a performance more engaging, urging students to enjoy their time in the spotlight and maintain eye contact with the audience to create a more natural and engaging performance.
Sam Chen motivated the participants to be confident. He reminded them not to be afraid of forgetting lines, but instead to bring out their own unique qualities in both the script and stage performance. He also emphasized the importance of supporting one another on stage, noting that seamless teamwork helps the audience connect more deeply with the performance.

Stephanie Sun, Chairwoman of Eagle, shared that sustainability and education are closely connected. As a leader in sustainable education, Eagle celebrated this important 25th anniversary with the simultaneous launch of the "Eagle Sustainable Love and Beach Clean Up" and the "Eagle Sustainable Love and Performing Arts Festival." These activities allow students, parents, and teachers to explore the practical aspects of sustainability through direct action. "Putting ideas into action is the best way to truly apply what students have learned," she added.
Eagle Global Education Group firmly believes that education is the foundation of sustainability. Over the years, Eagle has combined education with public welfare, reached out to schools in rural communities, and actively supported sustainability initiatives through tree planting and beach cleanups. Last year, Eagle was honored with the Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Award. This year’s drama competition allowed students to present moving performances centered on hope, empathy, and sustainability, and share the values of sustainability with the world as confident young voices for the future.
The highly anticipated grand finals will take place in Taipei on May 25, with a total prize value exceeding NT$180,000. Given the intense competition seen in the preliminary rounds, the grand finale is expected to be a memorable event
