The “2nd APSAA Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Awards 2023,” organized by the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy, held its grand awards ceremony. As one of the region’s most influential annual events, the awards celebrate exceptional contributions toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Making its debut at the awards, Eagle Educational & Cultural Enterprises, Ltd. received the Asia-Pacific Sustainability Action Award and became the first and only organization from the English language education sector to be recognized in the SDG 4 (Quality Education) category.

The results of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) were recently released, highlighting a rare achievement for Taiwan as Eagle alumna Elizabeth Yang earned a perfect score. Standing among 180,000 candidates worldwide, Elizabeth Yang secured her place among the top 0.01% of candidates worldwide, becoming one of only 179 students globally to achieve full marks. The foundation for this remarkable success was her fluent English proficiency developed from a young age, which allowed her to broaden her horizons, identify her strengths, and pave her way toward the world’s most prestigious universities.
