Throughout my life, language education has been both my greatest passion and my professional calling. My journey began with studies in Foreign Languages and Literature, followed by advanced study in the United States. After returning to Taiwan, I worked as both a full-time and adjunct professor in foreign language departments, colleges of tourism, and language centers at public and private universities.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to developing strong English-language educators and learners. I have had the privilege of training many outstanding English teachers for elementary and secondary schools across Taiwan, while also helping students discover the confidence, opportunities, and personal growth that language learning can provide.

Years of teaching learners of all ages have given me a deep appreciation for the shared learning that takes place between teachers and students. From elementary school and university classrooms to professional development and teacher training, every experience has reinforced my belief in the power of language to open doors, connect people, and create new opportunities. More importantly, language learning is not simply about acquiring a practical skill. It is a journey that broadens perspectives, strengthens critical-thinking skills, and deepens our understanding of the world.

During my years as a university educator, I also devoted considerable time to researching English education in Taiwan and exploring how language learning can strengthen students’ global readiness.

After observing many major English education providers over the years, I developed a strong respect for American Eagle Institute’s educational philosophy and teaching results. What Eagle represents is more than a compelling slogan—it is a practical, child-centered approach to education. In 2010, after careful consideration, I chose Eagle as the place to begin a new chapter in my educational career—a system that truly empowers children to explore the world through English.

American Eagle Institute can be described as a “half-day American school.” Through daily English immersion, students develop their language skills in a natural, supportive, and low-pressure environment. “Aligned with North America, connected to the world” is more than a slogan—it is a principle reflected in our classrooms every day. Rather than treating English simply as another academic subject, Eagle incorporates Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), an approach in which students develop language skills while learning meaningful content. At Eagle, children do more than study English. They use English to gain knowledge, discuss everyday experiences, express their ideas, and engage with the world around them.

Learning at American Eagle Institute is about more than improving language skills. It is about developing the cultural awareness, confidence, and communication abilities children need to thrive in an increasingly connected world. In a joyful and supportive environment, students gradually build natural English fluency and the courage to express themselves beyond the classroom. We warmly invite your family to join the Eagle community. Together, we can help your child discover their strengths, reach their potential, and grow into a confident global learner.
