Learning English the right way, our unwavering commitment.
Director Gina Chan
With nearly twenty years of experience in education and my dual role as both a
mother and a school director, I firmly believe in the core philosophy of
American Eagle: language is more than just knowledge, it is a lifelong skill.
At the Xingao School, we are dedicated to creating a North American-style
immersive learning environment where children can grow naturally through
authentic language experiences. Here, interdisciplinary learning is not just a
slogan, it is part of our everyday teaching. Through hands-on experiments,
inquiry-based learning, and collaborative teamwork, students observe
scientific outcomes, solve problems through projects, and spark their
imaginations through creativity and exploration. English becomes a tool for
understanding the world, rather than something learned through rote
memorization alone.
We go beyond the classroom to bring English into everyday life. Through
outdoor exploration, themed activities, and situational learning tasks, every
carefully designed experience helps children understand that the true value of
language lies in communication and practical use. When children can express
themselves, ask questions, and collaborate in real-world situations, English
transforms from vocabulary in a textbook into a meaningful life skill.
Most importantly, we focus on building children’s language intuition and
confidence. Through rich listening exposure and positive encouragement,
children come to realize that English is not a subject to fear, but a tool
they can use naturally and confidently. Education is not a sprint, it is a
journey of accompanying children as they discover a bigger world, and English
is one of the most important bridges that helps lead them there.
