A Transformative English Learning Journey
Father of Judy Ko (Immersion Grade 1)
Before joining American Eagle Institute Banqiao Puqian Franchise School, Judy
attended a kindergarten with a semi-English immersion program. We originally
believed this background would help her transition smoothly and confidently
into American Eagle Institute’s English learning environment. However, during
her first month, she experienced a challenging and stressful adjustment period
and even began to resist learning English.
After noticing this situation, we immediately shared our concerns with the
teachers at American Eagle Institute. The teachers patiently took the time to
understand Judy’s situation and encouraged us to continue supporting her with
confidence. Unexpectedly, within just two months, she was able to overcome
this learning challenge. Judy no longer resisted English classes and instead
began actively participating in and enjoying classroom activities.
The teachers at American Eagle Institute Banqiao Puqian Franchise School have
deeply impressed us with their dedication and passion for teaching. They not
only focus on students’ English learning progress, but also place great
importance on classroom attitude and character development, while maintaining
excellent communication and strong partnerships with parents. After a year of
learning at American Eagle Institute, the results became especially evident
during our family trip to Korea this summer. While interacting with hotel
staff in English, Judy was able to understand the conversations, which truly
surprised us and made us incredibly proud.
Now, she actively asks to review what she has learned in class every weekend.
She even practices English quietly on her own, showing genuine interest and
enthusiasm for learning. This has helped us realize how important the right
learning environment is in inspiring and supporting a child’s English
development. We are truly grateful that we chose the right environment for her
during her elementary school years, and we hope she will continue to maintain
this motivation and love for learning as she keeps striving forward, allowing
English to become a key that opens the door to the world.
