My Lesson

I woke up late this morning. My mother was angry, because I woke up late. She said that I had to walk to school. I quickly finished my breakfast and walked to school as fast as I could. My teacher said that I’ve been late several times this week, so I had to help with cleaning during my lunch break. I promised my teacher that I will never be late again. My teacher said that he will give me another chance. I was very grateful to my teacher, and hope I won't make the same mistake again.
